Julius Kühn-Institut Institut für Pflanzenschutz in Obst- und Weinbau

The Julius Kühn-Institut (JKI) is the Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants in Germany. It is a higher federal authority affiliated with the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

The JKI is structured into 18 specialized institutes  and several service units, which are based at 9 locations in Germany. It is an employer of around 1,300 staff members.
